Itinerary

This trip starts from the Chennai International Airport with a connecting flight to Cairo, which is the capital city of Egypt through Kuwait. Once the traveler arrives at the Cairo International Airport, he/she will be received and guided to the hotel by the representative of the locality. Following check-in at the hotel, travelers will have an opportunity to enjoy the evening dinner cruise on the Nile River, which not only provides great scenery but also entertainment and dinner. Following the dinner cruise, travelers will go back to the hotel for overnight stay in Cairo.

Meals: Stay:

After breakfast, travelers will go on a full-day Cairo tour including visits to the most prominent historic places of Egypt. Travelers will start their tour at the famous Great Pyramids of Giza which belong to the wonders of the world. Travelers will learn about the history of ancient Egypt and its pharaohs through visiting three pyramids called the pyramids of Khufu, Chephren, and Mycerinos. The tour will also include seeing the legend of the Sphinx which is a large statue consisting of a lion body with a king's head. Following lunch at an Indian restaurant, travelers will visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization which is considered one of the most significant museums in Egypt. This museum has become well-known as a place for the Royal Mummies Hall in which there are preserved royal mummies of Kings and Queens while traveling visitors learn more about the history of Egypt and its culture, religion, and archeology. After their sightseeing journey, travelers will come back to the hotel followed by dinner and accommodation in Cairo.

Following breakfast and check-out from the hotel, the tourists will be transferred to Cairo Airport and then board the plane for the domestic flight to Aswan. On arrival in Aswan, visitors will be escorted for some sightseeing tours at sites including the High Dam, Old Dam, and the impressive Philae Temple that lies on the island of the Nile. Aswan is famous for its serene environment, river views, and archaeological sites with historical significance in Egypt. Next, travelers will board the King Tut III Nile Cruise or a similar high-end 5-star cruise boat. Visitors will have time to unwind aboard while admiring the beautiful surroundings of the Nile River. For the night, visitors will dine aboard followed by the Nubian Folkloric Show depicting the music and dancing culture of Egypt.

Following breakfast on board the cruise ship, the tourists will move towards Abu Simbel, which is one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in Egypt, close to the Sudanese border. Abu Simbel is renowned for the temples constructed by Pharaoh Ramses II in honor of himself and his wife Nefertari. The rock-hewn temples have gained fame due to their majestic statues and rich carvings depicting the grandeur of Egyptian architecture. Later on, following their return to the cruise, travelers can enjoy lunch on board as the ship moves towards Kom Ombo with amazing views of the Nile. The tourists will later explore the Kom Ombo Temple in honor of the crocodile god Sobek and sun god Horus. In the evening, the tourists will attend the traditional Egyptian Galabeya Party onboard the cruise before overnight accommodation in Edfu on the Nile Cruise.

Following the breakfast at the ship, tourists would visit the Temple of Edfu situated on the West Bank of the Nile River. Built in dedication of the falcon-headed deity Horus, the Edfu Temple is among the best preserved ancient temples in Egypt and is celebrated for its splendid entrances, decorations, and importance in history. Then the Nile Cruise continues to Luxor while tourists have their lunch. On arrival at Luxor, tourists will get the chance to visit the legendary Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple located on the East Bank of the Nile. Visitors will visit another very important place called the Alexandria Library, which is considered a significant center of knowledge after the ancient Library of Alexandria.
